It is this time of the year where beautiful clients contract MakeupKase staff to transform them into horrid monsters...Halloween!!
We however had such a great time working for Interserve that I thought to share some of the great pics we got on the night.
I worked alongside the talented FX artists Sonia Boggio and Lisia Giannecchini.

Fashion Presentation with Vidal Sassoon

It was great working with Mikael and his team at Vidal Sassoon Knightsbridge branch for their fashion presentation, alongside the very talented photographer Emilie Bailey .
Mikael's work was inspired by geometry and how lines and curves mix to create the most amazing hair styles. I found his work edgy and very editorial and to complement his work, I created gradients of eye make up that will follow the lines of the models' faces ie: triangles, rectangles, circles, and beautiful lines.

As promised, few pics of our work at the Richmond event last 14th May. We are delighted with the response from parents and visitors and we can only encourage you to sponsor this great cause.

Wendy and myself were working non stop and although the weather was not as hot, I have to say, we enjoyed every minute of it!

We received a lovely thank you message from Regina Mester, one of the organisers of this event, and we are so glad we could be of any help and that our work help to raise funds for this amazing charity.

Airbrush for beginners Course

I have now finished teaching the Airbrush Cosmetics for beginners course at Westminster Adult Education (www.waes.ac.uk) and I have to say, I am looking forward to teaching the Intermediate Airbrush Cosmetics course to start next Wednesday 8/06/2011.

Most of my students come from the beginner's course so there will be several familiar faces.

They now know how to correctly use an airbrush, apply the products and work with air pressure (psi) and now they are seeking to take their skills to the next level.

Here are few pics of the practice lessons and a sample of different looks that can be created using an airbrush gun.

I am so pleased to see the progress of everyone at the Body painting class. Before the half term we worked on illusion techniques and I was ever so impressed with the student's work.

Here are few examples of their work, straight from the class!

Next week we will be exploring texture work, mud work and how to combine this technique with make up to create a great look. I can't wait and looking forward!

Welcome to the 41st consecutive Richmond May Fair!

Richmond May Fair

The annual Richmond May Fair will once again take over the large, grassy Richmond Green for the day.

If previous years are anything to go by the whole town will turn out, along with residents from surrounding areas, making this one of the events of the year in this part of London.

The fair is filled with stalls set up by charities who are keen to raise funds and offer you a fun day out at the same time. There is a good selection of stalls selling bric-a-brac, crafts, and lots of cake stalls with homemade looking tempting treats.

There's a full programme of free entertainment throughout the day on the Green and in and round the Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene. There's even a vintage Rolls Royce, featured in the Darling Buds of May, on site - a great photo opportunity!

Body Painting class now on!

I have the pleasure to teach at WAES an amazing group of artists who come from different backgrounds: Fine Art, face painting, make up artists, photography... how amazing is to share ideas and see how they take what they know and merge it with the new information on body art.
We worked on creating 3D objects and their designs where superb!

Look forward to next Wednesday lesson, where I will be teaching how to plan a body painting design and finding sources of inspiration.

Nail art and Tattoo art

Creativity has no limit! Today I will be doing nail art, with loads of different colors, designs and patterns. Pics will follow.
Also booked to do glitter tattoos. Love the bling factor! the great thing about this art, is how straight forward it is. Stencils make it easier and the variety of glitter colors make of the design a piece of art.

Great Face Painting for Cadbury's Event at Ham House in Richmond last Easter!

I have a great 2 days working alonside Jasmin at Ham House. The weather was superb! and so were the many families who came to the event with our little customers.
We painted easter eggs, bunnies, chicks time and time again, so much so that speed increased everytime one of these designs was done.
I have managed to get some pics of some of the faces I did.

Great pics taken by Alessandra Bester Photography, our model Sahar, posed outdoors and in the studio, so she had to find ways to fight with the blazing sun, and she made just that! the pics are great!
SB from Temptu worked so well under all conditions, the make up looks flawless, natural and as intended weightless! Temptu delivered and the pics show it big time.
Next time, I will be airbrushing a stronger look, with more vivid colours to see how does it compare.
